The beauty of life and family

A few months ago, I shot a wedding for a bride whose father and brother-in-law were killed in a plane accident a month before her wedding. The sister of the bride, whose husband was in the accident, was left with two little girls, one who is severly autistic, and asked me to do a tribute video with them to remember their father and grandfather by. To add a personal touch, they had a lot of home video footage which I incorporated in between the footage I shot.

Grab the tissues, it's a tearjerker. I was crying just editing the thing. It really made me stop and think how much I cherished my loved ones and the importance of telling them we love them each and every day. I hope it inspires you to do the same.

Scarlett,

The Lord is using you and your gifts in so many ways to bless other people. You continue to shine the light on the hearts of people and create memories full of the emotions and feelings and love that weaves a soul thread like no still picture ever could.

A picture lasts but a moment and touches only our sense of vision. Your films capture a universe full of sight and sounds, smiles and tears, laughter and hugs. With picture you look from the outside in. With your cinemagraphic film you look from the inside out...through the heart and soul of the feelings of the moment.

You create tears of joy that will last forever. We always know to grab our kleenexes before we press play to watch another "captivating" masterpiece film by Scarlett Williams. Yours are the classic films we want to watch over and over and over..............

Touche' Darling! I know God is pleased that you magnify Him with all your heart and soul.

Scarlett,

Within the fabric that holds your heart together, are the cherished memories you have of a loved one who has left this world to soon. I for one want to offer my sincerest soul felt thank you for all you have done for our healing process within our family.
This year, our family lost two men who meant so much to all who are left behind to reflect on our sudden loss.
Personally, I have a best friend in Steele. He would be so proud of you and what you have done for his kids and wife (my sister).
My nieces will always have a priceless piece of there father and grandfather.
To you, I pray your passion continues to uplift the world, and bring the best out of these life lessons.
God Bless your Scarlett, you are on your way to the top. You're simply the best, inside and out.

Scarlett,

It is often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, this piece of art is priceless. I was brought to tears and blessed by this film and even more blessed to have known this family. I didn't have the opportunity to meet Steele but hearing stories about him it is obvious that he was a great man and father. I applaud you for returning all the glory to God for your wonderful gift. May he continue to bless you and your business.

Scarlett,

I wanted to say how much that video touched me and my family...I wept into my husbands chest after he and watched with me. We almost lost him to a brain tumor in 95 its coming into his 11th year of being healed. I can only imagine the pain...

I absolutely believe God his His hands in and on this. You have a wonderful talent with this media.

I was so excited to share it I forgot to come back and tell you I had posted a link to it on my site! I hope that was ok...

God bless you and may you continue to be a blessing to those whom you get the chance to create a piece of art life...

You have a gift of turning pain to beauty....

All my respect,
Kerri

Hi Scarlett,

This is my first time posting to your blog. I just gotta say that what you created here was absolutely priceless. Words cannot express how valuable this video will be to the surviving family and friends.

It would also appear that you are a Christian as well. I love seeing how fellow believers use the gifts God has given them to bless others. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! You just posted to my blog about the little autistic boy I photographed. Thank you for directing me to yours. I believe God has given us these gifts - the ability and the passion to capture beautiful images such as these to be blessings in other people's lives. Thank you for listening and being sensitive to his calling on your life. Amazing work! You go, girl. I'll be watching :)
