Cara and Drew are engaged!
In booking Cara and Drew's upcoming wedding at Jekyll Island Club, I hadn't met them in person yet because they are from the Atlanta area. But recently they drove down to shoot their engagement session in Fernandina Beach where we met for the first time. When she walked up, I instantly fell in love with Cara's style and her leopard high heel shoes and matching belt.
Cara, looking like a supermodel who just walked off a runway, and Drew, who could be Justin Timberlake's twin, were so much fun to shoot and really worked it for the camera. It's hard to believe Cara is really a tom boy, she told me, because they both easily could be supermodels. I almost wanted to convert every image to black and white because they kept reminding me of Abercrombie or Guess models in the fashion ads in a lot of their shots.
The playful couple have been together since high school, and Drew finally proposed two months ago in Hawaii when they were visiting to celebrate Cara's parents 25th anniversary. How sweet is that? He even wrote "Will you marry me?" in the sand, and kept rewriting it as the sand continued to wash it away. But I'm sure Drew would agree that Cara was worth it!

Ok, either she is your blonde sister, or Jenna Elfmann's twin! She is so cute! Pictures look awesome, as usual!
I work with Cara and let me tell you she is as beautiful in person as she is in her pictures. She has an amazing personality!! And we just love her to death.

Amazing work... but then again, when is your work ever NOT amazing! I was in Amelia photographing a wedding a few weeks ago, and it was interesting because I'm familiar with several of the spots you shot at! Looks like you had a great couple as subjects too!

Im Caras mom and I want to thank you so very much for the most amazing pictures. I cried when I watched the slide show. You have captured Cara and Drew so well. I knew the first time I saw your web sight you were something special. We were looking for something diffrent and creative and we found that in you. Beautiful! Beautiful pictures. These look very beautiful~ Such a consistent and awesome job!
I am the soon to be cousin-in-law to Cara but we love Drewsky just as much. I cried when I watched the video, too. The love they share for one another is innocent, true and couldn't be more apparent that the photos illustrate. I am amazed by the colors and how every photo pulls you in...captivates you! Some day, when it is our time, you would be my top choice in photographers!

I love your photography! It's very much the stuff I like to attempt myself. I'd love to pick your brain as to what lenses you use for certain shots but I'll just enjoy them for the time being. :)
Hey Steen! For that session I only used the 50 1.2 and 28 1.8 wide angle. And it was with my new 5D camera! Hope this helps!
