The greatest love of all.

A lot of you know that I am a Christian and passionate about the Lord as the true Lover of my soul. I look forward to the day when I can share an earthly love with my husband, but until I can experience that kind of love, I'm enjoying the ongoing dance I currently have with Jesus. However, it's so easy to get distracted and caught up in a million and one things going on, and I'm often guilty of neglecting my relationship with Him and that ongoing struggle to keep Him as my main priority.

So when I saw this video on my friend Sarah Barlow's blog, I was completely bawling by the end of it because it so describes my life right now in so many ways.

I encourage you to invest the next 5 minutes of your time into watching this video. It's incredibly powerful with thought-provoking imagery and really makes you remember what is the most important thing in this life above all else. Jesus. He doesn't ask us to be perfect, He just ask us to let Him love us. And because of that, His grace truly is amazing like my favorite hymn says.

Just awesome!! I am weeping. Isn't HIS love amazing?! As I read through your blog entry today I was reminded of myself not too many years ago. I longed for an earthly husband. My desires to be married and have a family were so very strong. Yet, it was that time in my life when I was closest to Jesus. He is taking this time to prepare you for HIS will. I love my husband and I love my children, yet I sometimes long for those times of quiet stillness, when HE would peacefully whisper, I AM! Thank you for sharing this, Scarlett.

Everyone who sees this - read "Becoming Visible" by Amanda H. Williams. It will show you everything about God and about love that you'll ever need to know in life. It is a novel good for men and women! Thank you for the video, Scarlett!

Rachel- What a great testimony! Thank you so much for your encouragement. It reminded me of one of my favorite verses "Be still and know I AM God."

Andrew- Ha! Glad you were moved by it!

Kenzie- I know, isn't it amazing? I almost didn't watch the video myself but I felt Him say STOP THE WHIRLDWIND AROUND AND JUST WATCH THIS! And it ended up being so incredibly moving and what I needed to see right then.

Jen- Aww, thank you for accepting my honesty. It can be vulnerable to do at times, but it's comforting to know you guys always embrace the real me.

Rachel- Looks like a good read!

WOW, that video is amazing... I was cheering with the crowd when He started to hold back the world. That's all it takes is one step in His direction. I'm like wiping away the tears how incredible. I just want to post it all over, and I think I will. I can completely sympathize with the demonstration as that's where my life seems to be all the time, constant up and down. Seeking the Lord, being rewarded, then life getting in the way. I can't say anything more than WOW....

absolutely amazing LOVE....Thank you for sharing this video.

All I could see was my life in this video...the journey
to learn to walk and run,
the lure of earthly wonder,
the wayward steps,
and the pitfalls that kept me from coming back,
the desire to come back to Him
and yet the many distractions that kept me from doing just that,
and finally the surrender to allow Him to in my life,
to fight my demons simply by complete surrender to His Will not mine,
and finally winning the battle
and know what it is like
to dance with the Lord again!
